Advanced Residential Oilburners

A replacement and upgrade to our classic 'COMBUSTION & Oil Burning Equipment', now out of print. This manual is the most comprehensive and newest text on oilburners for residential and light commercial use. It reviews the basics of oilburner service and then looks at more of the chemistry and advanced troubleshooting knowledge required by senior technicians to service some of today's more complicated problems in plain, simple language. This is not an oilheat systems book, but a thorough examination of the oilburner, combustion, venting and the testing of all of these complex and sophisticated technologies and sciences.

The Hot Water Handbook - SECOND EDITION
by George Lanthier and Robert Suffredini 
The first generic text ever on the subject of domestic hot water, DHW! Includes information on designing, testing, troubleshooting and determining the correct size of tanklesses, direct heaters and indirect heaters. Covers all fuel systems: electric, fueloil and gas. Included in the text are illustrations and tables for the proper sizing, troubleshooting, and of all kinds of water heaters working with or without a central heating system. Includes a discussion on the controversial issues of 'scalding' and 'bacterial growth'.

 

The CMR 4.00 Guide FOURTH EDITION - Second Revision

The book that covers all of the information required to be up to date on the newest version of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Regulation's on Oil Burning Equipment, 527 CMR 4.00. The manual covers all of the changes that have taken effect since 1995. Used by both local fire services and oilheat equipment installers, and is considered the standard and authoritative text on the subject and is the standard text used in training for the MA Fire Marshal's Office and the oilheat industry.

 

The RIELLO Handbook - Third Edition
The Third Edition covers the RIELLO Series Mectron, F-40, BF, R35 and G51 in one manual. Included in the text are illustrations, diagrams and tables for the proper setup and servicing of RIELLO residential and light commercial burners firing up to 6.4 gallons per hour. The book features tips, hints and troubleshooting techniques and procedures and the author's 32 years of experience on the product.

 

The RIELLO MEC-KA Handbook
by George Lanthier
The RIELLO MEC-KA series was distributed from 1975 to 1981. This manual covers service and troubleshooting for models MEC-3KA and MEC-8KA. The book is in a 8-1/2" by 11' format and is spiral bound for easy reading and page placement. Features troubleshooting tips and flowcharts to diagnose problems quickly. We provide no technical support for these burner models and parts are no longer available.  

 

WIRING & Fuel Burning Equipment

This will be six new comprehensive volumes on wiring and controls for coal stokers, gasburners, oilburners and heating systems. These are the first manuals specifically written for technicians involved in the installation and servicing of heating equipment. Covers the wiring and control systems that operate older and modern systems and proven troubleshooting techniques that can actually be used in the field.

WIRING & Fuel Burning Equipment - Volume 1- Fundamentals
